Classes are taught by an NRA Certified Instructor.
Participants are expected to know the responsibilities,
and liabilities of using deadly force, demonstrate how to handle firearm in a safe manner, briefly identify the principal
parts of a handgun and types of action, apply for their concealed weapon permit.
At the end of Concealed
Weapon Course, participants are presented with their Firearm Safety Certificate, and a complete application packet
from the Florida Division of Licensing.
Classes are held usually on a Saturday. It is necessary
to call ahead of time (a day before the class) , and register. The fee is $70.00, and $45.00 for
another person you take along with you. ($115.00 per pair).
